Navigate is designed to help students develop critical self-advocacy skills which contribute to both academic and social success through resources at home and school. Additionally, Navigate seeks to help students build positive relationships among faculty, staff, and peers to help them meet their potential at Conestoga and beyond.
Students meet with advisors on a monthly basis (meetings will be scheduled on a rotating basis to minimize a loss of class time), attend college visits, listen to speakers from local universities, have access to scholarship and visiting information from colleges and universities, and have the opportunity to hear and talk about current events relating to African Americans.
