PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE TRANSPORTATION HOME AT 3:45 P.M. YOU SHOULD HAVE REPLIED ON SCHOOLOGY THAT YOU ARE ATTENDING.

    SC: 7th and 8th graders...you have two more days to sign up for an event for Battle of the Bulldogs.  Check the schedule in your HR for which event you can sign up for on Thursday morning and Friday morning.  Captains will be running sign ups in the morning and announcing the participants at lunch each day.

     

    Hershey Park Bus Sign Ups are done.  Anyone who has not signed up as of yet,  Mrs. Tyrell will put you on an empty set on the bus.  Bus lists will be posted on Friday.

    TWO: 2016-17 Yearbooks have finally arrived and will be distributed during homeroom today!  Once you receive your yearbook, please remember the following two things; Write your name on the inside cover of your yearbook as soon as you get it so that if it gets lost or misplaced, it can be returned to you easily. Anything written in others’ yearbooks should be respectful and appropriate.

    SC: Battle of the Bulldog Event Sign Ups continued this morning before school.  Today we did sign ups for Obstacle Course and Cake Eating Contest.  Captains will announce the participants during lunch in the cafeteria.  

     

    Tomorrow morning you can sign up for Star Wars  and the Jawbreaker Bonanza.  If you have any questions...see Mrs. Tyrell in Room, 234.

    ONE: Time is running out to order your TE Memories DVD.  Watch all your favorite middle school events time and time again.  This program will be shown at the 8th grade Recognition Ceremony, but for only $10 you can own a personal copy to watch again and again.  Orders can be taken in the main office or with Mr. Veroneau in room 212.

    TWO: This week’s word of the week is surrogate, which means a person appointed to act for another; deputy, a substitute. For example, Ellicot Creek is no surrogate for A Plus Lawn Care.

     

    NOW OVER TO STUDENT COUNCIL.

     

    SC: The TE/VF Dance for 8th graders will be tonight at Conestoga High School from 7:30 pm to 10 pm.  The theme for the dance is Hawaiian Luau.  Guys should wear a collared shirt with  pants or shorts.  Girls should wear a sundress, romper or other dressy shorts.  Tickets for this dance cost $5 each.  Your last chance to buy tickets is today during 8th grade lunch in the cafeteria.   They will not be sold at the door!

     

    Battle of the Bulldog Sign Event Sign Ups start on Monday.  We will be doing sign ups before school from 7:25-7:45 am.  If you are interested in signing up for an event, stop by either the 7th or 8th grade tables that we will have set up by the auditorium.  Write your name on the papers we have there and put it in the bin of the event you are interested in signing up for.  Bulldog Captains will choose randomly out of the bins to see who will participate in the events for the day.  They will read the names of the students who were chosen at lunch each day.  You are only allowed to participate in one event so if you are chosen for more than one event,  Mrs. Tyrell will call you in and make you choose one event.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Tyrell in Room,234.  On Monday you can sign up for either Girls or Boys Tug of War.
