      We believe that having positive reading experiences is fundamental for acquiring the necessary reading skills that your students need to be successful readers.  It is our pleasure to be a part of this process.   The goal of Reading Club is to work with the students to strengthen the skills essential for reading.  These skills include phonics, recognition of high frequency words, fluency, vocabulary and reading comprehension strategies.  In Reading Club, students will receive direct instruction in these essential skills depending on their specific needs. This is in addition to the instruction they receive in their core classroom.  We are looking forward to a successful year!
