Although specific times have been scheduled for test completion, students may take as much time as they need to complete the exams.
Only students enrolled in Algebra 1, Biology, or American Voices will be taking the exams during this window. According to the state, it is a graduation requirement for students in the class of 2023 (current grade 11 students) and beyond to demonstrate proficiency in Algebra 1, Biology, and Literature through one of four pathways. Additional information from the Pennsylvania Department of Education regarding these pathways can be found at the Statewide High School Graduation Requirement portion of the PA Department of Education’s website.
As the dates of the Keystone Exams approach, students will be given more specific information regarding the exam time and their assigned location. Students should be aware that cell phones and other electronic devices are strictly forbidden in the Keystone Exam rooms. Make-ups for absent students will be arranged as soon as they return to school. Parents/guardians who wish to review the assessment materials may do so by contacting me at 610-240-1067.
