I am looking forward to a fun year of laughter and learning!
About the Teacher
When I’m not teaching, you can find me reading, working out, dancing with my daughter, taking walks with my husband and our dog, or trying new things with friends. I love to eat out and spend time with my family!
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from West Chester University. I have my masters in Elementary Education and a Reading Specialist Certification from Cabrini. I recently finished my course work in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. I have taught Special Education, Autistic Support, for 8 years.
Birthdays (and half-birthdays for kids with summer birthdays) are important milestones, and many kids like to share a special treat with their classmates. Your child is welcome to bring in stickers, pencils, or other small, inexpensive items to hand out to classmates. Students may not bring in food items to share.
The PTO provides three classroom parties each year, at Halloween, Winter Break, and Valentine’s Day. To ensure consistency among classrooms, we ask families to not send in additional treats.
Please check your child’s folder daily for information from general education teachers and myself, I will put all notes and/or forms for school in your child’s folder. I will send daily notes home describing your child's day. I will do my best to return all e-mails within 24 hours.
