• Junior Year Timeline 


    • Begin talking with your parents about post high school plans.
    • Review your high school course work and make sure you are on track to  graduate. 
    • Schedule an appointment with your counselor about initial post high school planning.
    • Develop a plan for standardized testing (PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, ACT, AP).
    • Take the PSAT. 
    • Attend College Admissions Evening in November.
    • Check the Student Services bulletin board and Naviance for college visits. Create a list of questions and attend visits at Conestoga from September-November.
    • Use Naviance and complete milestones tasks.
    • Attend College Fairs. 


    • Make an appointment with your counselor for you and your parents for a Post High School Planning Meeting.
    • Plan senior year courses with counselor.
    • Visit college campuses.
    • Keep a journal of questions and impressions from your visits. 


    • Attend Financial Aid Evening
    • Attend the spring Military Day and Career Week sessions.
    • Attend the Main Line College Fair at Villanova University.
    • Ask teachers to write your letters of recommendation, allowing ample time for them to write before your deadline.
    • Visit college campuses.
    • File initial NCAA paper work online at the NCAA Elgibility Center website and record in Naviance/My Colleges.
    • Keep a journal of questions and impressions from your visit.
    • Login to www.pin.ed.gov and request a parent pin and student pin for FAFSA. 


    • Complete The Junior Questionnaire in Naviance by June.
    • Review Conestoga transcript for accuracy, and submit changes to the registrar.
    • Begin rough drafts of college essays.
    • Starting August 1st, go onto the Common Application website: www.commonapp.org to create a username and password.
    • Look for summer mailing from Conestoga and return all required documents on time.
