Free/Reduced Meal Program
How to Apply for Free and Reduced Priced Meals
Please apply online at www.schoolcafe.com to see if you qualify. Only one application needs to be submitted per household, even if your children attend more than one school in T/ESD. The application must be filled out completely to certify your children for free or reduced lunch price school meals. Please follow the step-by-step instructions online. In addition to the application, a Sharing of Information Waiver must be signed to share your status of Free or Reduced with other departments in the District that may waive certain fees for your participation in the lunch program.

T&E CARE - School Meal Assistance Program
If you believe your family could use help covering the costs of school meals, and you do not qualify for the District's free/reduced price meal option, then you may be eligible for the T&E Care School Meal Assistance Program. T&E Care is a local non-profit organization that helps families in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships. The application for the program is available on the T&E Care website at:

Notice of Direct Certification
If you have received a Notice of Direct Certification for free meals, do not complete the application. But do let the school know if any children in your household are not listed on the Notice of Direct Certification letter you received.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online here, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
