The Spoke is an established public forum for student expression. The student-run paper is published seven times a school year. Early each spring, students can apply to be on the staff. The mission of The Spoke is to provide an outlet for student expression, present unbiased, in-depth news coverage, and inform and entertain students, faculty, staff and other members of the community. The Spoke is consistently recognized as an exemplary student publication by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the National Scholastic Press Association, Quill and Scroll, the Pennsylvania News Media Association and the Pennsylvania School Press Association.
