Pay Student Computer Cost Sharing Fee

District Devices

Students in grades K-12 are provided with a District device each school year. Students in grades K-4 receive an iPad and case; students in grades 5-12 receive a Dell laptop with our middle school laptops receiving a case (beginning with grades 5/6 in the 24-25 school year). Students agree to adhere to the terms and conditions contained in the Acceptable Use Agreement.

Family Cost-Sharing Fees

Families of students in grades K-4 are asked to pay an annual cost-sharing fee of $15 per student.
Families of students in grades 5-12 are asked to pay an annual cost-sharing fee of $50 per student with a maximum annual family fee of $100.

Explanation of Fee Coverage

This annual fee covers Accidental Damage Protection for the device and its case for any first-time damage which occurs in the current school year. Any additional repairs or replacements required of the device in the same school year will no longer be covered by the warranty and will be assessed and charged to the family. The start of each new school year will restart the timeline for families. The chart below outlines our equipment repair items and their cost.

1^st Damage: No Cost ($50 or $15 annual fee covers it)

2^nd and Further Damage: Cost is applied to the family

Next School Year

1^st Damage: No Cost ($50 or $15 annual fee covers it)

2^nd and Further Damage: Cost is applied to the family

Submit Fee

The cost-sharing fee along with any repair costs can be paid online via PowerSchool (Payments) or by check made out to TESD with Student ID on the memo line of the check. Please contact your child's counselor or administrator if the cost-sharing fee or repair cost poses a financial hardship for your family.
