On September 4, TESD community members participated in an open house at the property on 1200 W. Swedesford Road in Berwyn, the future site of the District's sixth elementary school. The event offered stakeholders a unique opportunity to view the building in its current state before any interior demolition and renovations begin. The open house marked a significant milestone in the path toward the school's scheduled opening in August 2027.

During the open house, draft conceptual design plans for the new school were on display, allowing attendees to envision the transformation ahead. In addition to viewing the plans, community members had the opportunity to engage with School Board members, administrators and architects who were on hand to answer questions and provide insights into the project.
