Many Hillside families came together for the HES PTO Art Show and Book Fair on March 26 from 5-7PM.  Mrs. Christine Braun, art teacher extraordinaire, created numerous colorful presentations of student masterpieces for display throughout the cafeteria. Every Hillside scholar/artist was represented! This type of event highlights the importance of showing how all students contribute their individuality to make our school community special. From glowing jellyfish to 3D bunnies to self portraits, a range of artistic styles were showcased. Many thanks to the PTO volunteers who assisted Mrs. Braun in hanging all the student work and who volunteered time to set up, support, and clean up the book fair materials. Representatives from the Chester County Library System were also on hand to help families register for library cards. The evening event brought the school community together to connect over the universal appeal of art and children’s books.
