Conestoga Commitment to Social Justice
Conestoga Commitment to Social Justice
As we prepare to embark on a new school year, as a school community, it is important to renew our commitment to social justice. We at Conestoga care deeply about the way racism, intolerance, and injustice affect the lives of all individuals, especially those in our school community. We are committed to cultivating a culture that seeks to understand each other, values each other and does not tolerate discrimination of any kind. As a district, we are committed to social justice teaching standards, and to that end, we encourage teachers and students to engage in conversations about the impact of current and historical events on us as individuals and as a community. Together, we believe that we can find ways to move forward in unity during this challenging time.
