Good morning, T/E! Today is WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2021, and it is NATIONAL YORKSHIRE PUDDING DAY. It is also day SIX of the schedule. Today’s lunch includes BARBECUE PORK ON A KAISER ROLL.
The first meeting of the Multicultural Club is today during 4th period Lunch and Activity in room 206. The club is a fun space to enjoy learning about your own culture and other cultures. In the past, the Multicultural club has helped with World Traditions Day, World Food Day, World Music Day, and the Cultural Museum. Club meetings are open to 7th & 8th graders. Students should come to room 206 at the start of 4th period and bring lunch with them. For questions, contact Ms. Elshakhs in room 120A or Senorita Neto in room 206.
Students in grade 6-8 who are interested in joining the Coding, Engineering and Design Club will have opportunities to explore computer programming, robotics, engineering, and design work throughout the year. Students will utilize technology, 3D printers, laser cutters, and power tools and machinery. The club will meet Wednesday’s after school in 122A, the Tech Ed room. The club will start October 20th. Please see Mr. Mumford before homeroom for more information or grab a permission slip out of room 122A.
Science Olympiad will meet on tomorrow from 3:10-3:55 in Room 211. Don’t forget to bring permission slips to Dr. Strohmetz in Room 203.
