Good morning T/E! Today is FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2021 and it is NATIONAL CHEESE CURD DAY. It is also day TWO of the schedule. Today’s lunch includes PIZZA.


Students in grade 6-8 who are interesting in joining the Coding, Engineering and Design Club will have an opportunity to explore computer programming, robotics, engineering, and design work throughout the year. Students will utilize technology, 3D printers, laser cutters, and power tools/machinery. The club will meet Wednesday’s after school in 122A, the Tech Ed room.  The club will start October 20th. Please see Mr. Mumford before homeroom for more information or grab a permission slip out of room 122A


7th graders who signed up for Art Club on Wednesdays are invited to switch to Tuesdays if able. Please see Mrs. Flint’s Schoology message to you about this possible change if it works for you and your family. Any 7th grader who had Mrs. Flint for 5th grade Art, the ceramic cylinder seals and cave wall art can be picked up in room 152. Any 7th grader who had Ms. Turner for 5th grade Art can pick up their clay hippo that was on display in room 153


Congratulations to the 7th-grade field hockey team for their win over Northley Middle School on Wednesday. Goals were scored by Courtney S, Tori H, and Lexi R.  It was a solid overall team win.


Today marks the last day of Hispanic Heritage month. A celebration that recognizes the contributions of Hispanic Americans. The multicultural club spent their first meeting learning all bout Hispanic Heritage month and wanted to share that they learned with the rest of TEMS.
