• Principal's Message

My name is Patrick Gately and I am the proud principal of New Eagle Elementary School. We are one of five elementary schools in the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District. Currently, we serve approximately 480 students, kindergarten through fourth grade.

The New Eagle Elementary community has created a culture where effort, hard work, and academic excellence are the norm. The staff at New Eagle is dedicated to providing the opportunity for all students to realize their full potential. We encourage the development of academic, social, emotional skills needed to become productive members of society.  In 2010-2011, New Eagle Elementary was awarded the Distinguished Title I School Award by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.  Most recently, we were named a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School for sustained student achievement.  In addition, New Eagle Elementary previously received the National Blue Ribbon Award in 1985-1986 and 1996-1997.

It is important to provide children with a warm, nurturing, and caring environment that is child-centered and family friendly. We are fortunate to have very supportive parents who volunteer their time and talents with our school. I have an open door policy and strongly encourage communication between home and school. I welcome any input that contributes to the mission of educating our children. Building a strong school community is achieved through collaboration among all stakeholders including parents, teachers and administrators.

Best wishes for a successful school year.

    Sincerely,

    Patrick J. Gately, Ed.D.
    Principal
