RUNNING CLUB (full for 2024-2025)
Running Club is available for students who are enthusiastic about running and who want to learn more about the activity. Students who participate will join other passionate runners and even have opportunities to compete with students from other schools.Grades: 5, 6, 7, 8

WRESTLING CLUB
Wrestling Club is available for those who would like to be introduced to the sport of wrestling, this club is for you! Students who participate will experience the sport and have other opportunities to learn about the Valley Forge Middle School Wrestling Team.Grades: 5, 6, 7, 8

DECA CLUB
The DECA after-school program is designed to develop essential skills in communication, teamwork, and innovation. Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, the club aims to build students’ confidence, creativity, and leadership abilities, preparing them for challenges they will face in high school and beyond.Grades: 7, 8

NEWSPAPER CLUB
Newspaper Club is open to any student with an interest in learning how to seek news stories, complete interviews, gather facts, and compose news articles to be published in our school newspaper, The Forger. Students are expected to, use multiple resources to write about school events as assigned, properly complete the editing, revising, and saving process, and meet all deadlines for rough and final drafts.Grades: 5, 6, 7, 8

FINANCIAL LITERACY CLUB
The VFMS Financial Literacy and Investment Club is open to any student in Grades 5-8 with an interest in learning more about basic financial concepts and how to invest in the stock market. The club will be run by student representatives from the Conestoga Investment Club, who will craft lesson plans for each club meeting. This club will be a fun and informative way to learn about saving and investing and will include a stock market simulation game.Grades: 5, 6, 7, 8

SLAM CLUB
SLAM is a club at VFMS that stands for Student Leaders’ Antiracist Movement. It is an organization that has been running at Conestoga for the past five years. SLAM at VFMS will provide students with a safe and age-appropriate opportunity to build knowledge and awareness of race and its role in our identities, history, society, and culture. It will provide a supportive place for students to ask questions, gain context, seek understanding, and form their own opinions.Grades: 5, 6, 7, 8
