2018-2019 Budget SummaryOn June 11, 2018, the T/E School Board unanimously approved the 2018-2019 Final Budget. In the 2018-2019 school year, the T/E School District will serve over 6,900 students with an approved authorized budget of $146,038,639. The budget amount is comprised of $142,338,639 in anticipated operational spending and $3,700,000 for unexpected expenses. The 2018-2019 anticipated spending of $142,338,639 reflects a 3.5% increase over last year’s projected spending. The 2018-2019 budget includes a property tax rate increase of 2.42% or $139 on the average assessed home in T/E. The total property tax rate for 2018-2019 is 22.981 mills. Homeowners eligible for the homestead/farmstead exclusion under Act 1 will receive a reduction of $185 on their 2018 property tax bills from state gaming fund revenue.

All meetings will be held at 7:00 pm in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Administration Offices (TEAO) at 940 West Valley Road, Suite 1700 in Wayne unless otherwise indicated. The meeting location is subject to change, so please check the web site often. The T/E School Board encourages public participation throughout the budget development process. Public comments regarding the budget may be submitted to Arthur J. McDonnell, Business Manager, or to the T/E School Board.
