• Food Recall Procedure

    The TESD Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) department receives food recall notifications directly from the USDA as soon as recall information is available. Each recall is investigated to determine if the "recalled" product is being used by the FNS department. If a recalled product is identified, it is immediately removed from inventory and returned to the distributor and/or USDA per the USDA recall instructions.
