The Conestoga Music Department takes pride in providing many opportunities for students to perform and/or take classes in a variety of areas. Most visible to the public are the following:
Choral organizations in the curriculum:- Concert Choir (non-auditioned– SATB music)
- Chorale (auditioned 9th and 10th graders–SATB music)
- Camerata (auditioned 11th and 12th graders–SSAATTBB music)
- Chanteuses (non-auditioned–SSAA music)
Instrumental organizations in the curriculum
- Concert Band (non-auditioned band–grades 9-12)
- Wind Ensemble (auditioned band–grades 9–12)
- Orchestra (non-auditioned strings, auditioned winds and percussion–grades 9-12)
- Jazz Band (auditioned–grades 9-12)
- Jazz Ensemble (auditioned–grades 9-12)

- AP Music Theory and Music Theory
- Music Production
- Broadway Musical Theatre
- Songwriting
- Piano Lab
- Beginning Guitar and Advanced Guitar
Note: Students may also participate in extra-curricular activities sponsored by the Music Department, including the Marching Pioneers (Marching Band and Visual Ensemble), ‘stoga Music Theatre’s annual musical, and various chamber groups. In addition, students in grades 10 – 12 (and 9th grade tenors and string players) may consider auditioning for the District 12 Chorus, Band, and Orchestra and, subsequently, Regions and All-State.
